The premiere of HBO’s Westworld promised as much drama as the new season of the show! Designed by Billy Butchkavitz and team and held at the NeueHouse, the event captured just the right tone between humanity and the inhuman … just like the sci-fi drama.
Guests walked into a recreation of the science lab where the characters of the town are designed, and tweaked. This space was neutral in tone with a white and gray palette … cold and sterile. A complete opposite to the next space with its blood red walls and criss crossing gobo projections. A rooftop area offered even more space for design — a large-scale video projection by Bart Kresa, more gobo projections and a bar at which visitors to this version of Westworld could mosey on up and whet their whistle.
